Firm Overview

While we typically consider ourselves to be forward-thinking, we are also immensely proud of our firm’s history. In a field that can be volatile and unpredictable, our prudent, steadfast approach has allowed us to continuously grow for over 20 years. From roots extending to one of the world’s largest financial services companies to navigating through multiple market cycles, the experience and perspectives we’ve gained have built a solid foundation for both our firm and clients.

At Sanderson, what’s important isn’t just what we do—it’s also how we do it. Our philosophy is one that puts the needs of our clients first, without exception, and is based on the belief that trust is earned, not assumed. We take great satisfaction—personal and professional—when our clients succeed. For us, integrity is just as important as the bottom line. By being resolute in how we conduct business, we are able to view each new client as the start of a long-term partnership.

At Sanderson, our approach to wealth management goes above and beyond what our clients find at a traditional investment firm or financial planner. We are positioned to serve all their financial needs under one roof. Even more importantly, our offerings and advisers are strategically integrated, so our clients can be sure that all aspects of their wealth are working together toward their family’s aspirations.

We welcome our clients to as active of a role in their wealth management strategy as they prefer. Plus, throughout our engagement, they expect a highly personalized experience supported by high-tech digital financial tools at their fingertips.

Institute & Industry Leaders

Chris Cannon, board member of the Institute's Real Fiduciary™ Practices and CFA Society Orlando, interviews Boston University Professor of Law Emerita, Tamar Frankel.

Frankel explains what led her to spend her career focusing on fiduciary law, what it means to be a fiduciary, and what conflicts of interest exist within the advisory space. She then offers her thoughts on what regulators should do to help eliminate these conflicts.

Carolyn McClanahan

"With the advent of 401(k)s and the decimation of pension plans to ensure financial security in old age, a fiduciary standard is more important than ever. The public needs to be confidant that advisors helping them plan for their retirement years always and only act in their best interest as a fiduciary. I'm happy to endorse organizations such as the Institute for the Fiduciary Standard that promote protections for those who need to secure their financial future."

- Carolyn McClanahan, Founder of Life Planning Partners
