Investment Advisor magazine has once again passed along its Luminaries awards, and honestly, I’m not going to tell you about all of the 93 firms listed, or the 105 individuals, except to point out some of those who appear not to be luminaries in the eyes of the magazine: Joel Bruckenstein, Michael Kitces, Angie Herbers, Knut Rostad, Stephanie Bogan, anybody associated with the AICPA PFP section, the CEOs of the FPA, AICPA PFP Section and NAPFA, Wade Pfau, Carl Richards, Michael Finke, Julie Littlechild, Marie Swift, Alan Moore, Brent Weiss, Philip Palaveev, Caleb Brown—and, of course, me, all are not included among the luminary individuals.  But a few HR people at broker-dealers ARE listed as luminaries. …..
